Marc by Marc Jacobs Lurex Blocks Jacquard Dress

Please forgive the many, many photos in this post but I wanted to capture the lovely details of this dress from the pattern to the fabric. This dress was a splurge for me and I had a moment of--oh, maybe I shouldn't have spent that much--after I clicked the place order button, but I have no regrets.

This woven wool dress has metallic jacquard detail throughout, optional belt at waist, slight gathering at waist, button closures at neck, and a hidden side zipper closure. I wore it this week with black tights and black patent heels (though I am tempted to do gold next time!) with dangling gold earrings. I felt like a living doll, and I loved it.
