I scooped up this Corey Lynn Calter dress on sale at Anthropologie and can't wait for spring so I can wear it and show off the corset back. I've been thinking about trying to winterize it with a black cardigan and tights, but I'm really not sure if it will work. Regardless, the dress is very va-va-voom, especially with the corset and the flatteringly short skirt length. Plus, it has pockets!

ReplyDeleteI have loved that dress since the first time I saw it, but I read some reviews on anthro about there being sizing issues. Most of them said to size up 1 or 2 sizes. Did you find that to be the case? I am thinking about trying to snag it off ebay and just want to be careful. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel! I found the dress to run fairly true to size, though it is a bit snug up top. I'd advise getting the size that would work with your chest size, since the skirt is a fuller a-line that will accommodate most any hips. If it helps, I wore the same size in this dress as I do in Nanette Lepore dresses and J.Crew dresses.
